(Ukraine, 1927). Based in Mexico from his earliest childhood, he studied in the capital of our country, as well as in France, Italy and Holland. Upon returning to Mexico, he became notable for his expressionist style. Deeply impressed by poverty, injustice and inequality, he is inclined to portray human drama. His work reflects the powerful influence of his favorite painters: Francisco de Goya, Vincent Van Gogh and José Clemente Orozco.
